They were joined by other Primary Schools and took part in a range of activities involving:

• the Council’s role as a Community Leader
• explaining why the council has meetings; what sort of things are discussed and how meetings are conducted
• explaining committees and peoples' roles
• preparing and conducting a mock meeting

The children all enjoyed their visit.
