Year 3 2020-2021
Here are a few photos from Year 3 showing what we have done so far this year! In the first week we did some fantastic den building. We pretended that a super villain had trapped us on the field and that we would have to build a shelter to keep ourselves warm and dry! Then we searched for food and decided what the best food to keep us alive would be. The last picture is our outside maths today. The children were very good at adding quantities of leaves. Some added three amounts to make 110!
Here are some more photos. You will see the children attacking a woolly mammoth and then pictures of them making their own spears. I have also uploaded some photos of what our classroom looked like at the end of our superhero topic. I have now had to take lots down to make room for our Stone Age work.
Here are pictures of our work in the second half of the Spring Term. You will see our weather stations, the Viking barley that we are growing after our topic on the Vikings, our trip to the Harlow Walled Gardens as part of our focus on flowering plants in science and the return of the missing maths books, which generated some great newspaper reports!
