We held our remembrance assembly on Thursday 8th November.
Pupils commemorated 100 years since the end of the Great War.
They recited poetry and presented wreaths made by every class in the school. The children then held a two minute silence. Everybody was very respectful as we all remembered those men and women who have fought for our country in every war since.
'They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
we will remember them.'
