Big Sing
The choir took part in a super singing workshop on 30th January at Saffron Hall. The ‘Big Sing’ was hosted by conductor and composer Dominic Peckham who inspired the children with his interesting warm-up and stories of his musical journey.
We had been practising three songs from the ‘Friday Afternoons’ sessions: Fire, Snow and Fast Car, which we performed along with lots of other schools from across the county. We had our very own Samantha picked to go and sing ‘Fire’ at the front with a microphone and what a super job she did too!
It was a thoroughly enjoyable morning and the choir were great representatives for the school.
