Fawbert & Barnard's Primary School

Learning for Life

Statutory Reporting

At Fawbert & Barnard's we value communication with parents.  Every year in July we give every pupil an end of year report.  This informs parents on their child's attainment, progress and attendance.  There is an opportunity to make an appointment to see the class teacher to discuss the report before the end of the academic year.

In EYFS we report on the end of key stage attainment and whether a pupil has met the early learning goals.  We also report on a pupils characteristics of learning.  (see EYFS policy for more information).

In Year 1 we will notify parents on their child's phonics screening results.  If a pupil doesn't meet the threshold in year 1 they will resit it in Year 2 and we will report on how they performed.

At the end of Year 2 (Key Stage 1) we provide outcomes of statutory national curriculum assessments along with comparisons of how other pupils in teh school achieved and pupils nationally.   At the end of Year 6 (Key Stage 2) we provide this information along with results of national curriculum tests taken.
