Autumn Term 2

Spring Term 1 - Pizza Creations

2024

This year, the creative club will be focusing on their cooking skills by following five different recipes, including dips, salads, pizza, flapjacks and crumbles, which will teach chopping, grating and mixing skills.

Look out for our next Masterchef in the making!

The children designed and created their own t-shirts based on our school values.

Fashion Show 2023

The children designed, created and produced a t-shirt to represent a school value. Each child was able to sew, use fabric pens and added beads, pearls or pockets to their final product.

Creative Club gets Designing!

The children have designed and are in the process of creating their own unique t-shirt linked to our school values. We are extremely grateful to our 'Friends' who have kindly donated the t-shirts for our club. We are excited to see their finished creations!

March 2023

The children have learnt a range of stitches which they have used to create their sewing flowers. They first sewed their buttons on and chose stitches to create the petals and leaves.

Autumn 2023

Autumnal leaves and pumpkins in the style of George Seurat and Pontillism. The children chose leaves from our school grounds to use for observational drawing and pumpkins grown in our own garden as inspiration for their own creations.

Queen Elizabeth II

The children created a celebration of the Queen in the style of Jackson Pollock.

3D Sculptures

The children made 3D sculptures using tin foil and taking inspiration from Alberto Giacometti.

The children decorated biscuits using various ingredients.

Art Ambassadors

The School are working on a project of creating a mosaic with a nature theme, that will be displayed under our shelter when completed. Children are finding objects (leaves, flowers, stones etc) within the school grounds that are then pressed into their clay tiles to become part of their design.

All children will have the opportunity of creating or painting a tile. This album has a selection of our Art Ambassadors assisting along with the children's creations so far.
