We are providing a breakfast club run by our school staff.  This is operating Monday to Friday from 7:30 am - 8:40 am.  Children arriving before 8:00 am will be provided with a breakfast before being taken to classes at 8:40 am.  Sessions require booking in advance.  For more information of how we can accommodate your needs, please call the school office and speak with the Office Manager.

Chillout Kids Club operate a breakfast club and after-school club from their Barnmead premises Monday to Friday.  However, if they have sufficient children they will deliver to our school and collect at the end of the day.  Please click the link for more information.

Home from Home Childcare is available at our school from 3:00 - 6:00 pm during term time and 7:30 am until 6:00 pm during school holidays.  Click here for more information.

Free Family Fun in the Park – Launching Sunday 4 May 2025

We are excited to share with you a wonderful initiative - Free Family Fun in the Park led by local organisation Time for Change Kids. A regular weekly session on Sundays offering residents a free opportunity to get moving in their local green space, at The Stow Park. A fantastic initiative bringing the community together while promoting health and well-being. Completely free, for all Children, young people and families.

Meridian Kung Fu

Kung Fu sessions are available at Harlowbury Primary School on Fridays.  Please see the attached flyer for more details about how to register.

Long Ley Park Launch
ParkPlay is coming to Long Ley and people of all ages are invited to get involved! This is the 1st ParkPlay to launch in the area to bring people from local communities together in parks and green spaces for two hours of free, informal games and activity, every Saturday morning. Bikeability Courses

The Easter Holidays are fast-approaching.  Are you looking for something for your child to do during this time?

Various levels are available as well as our beginner Learn to Ride courses.

Essex Fire Museum

We have two family open days coming up at the Essex Fire Museum:

-Tuesday 15th April (Easter holiday)
-Sunday 27th April

There will be opportunities for families to get involved in history trails around the museum, spot hazards in our fire safety room, partake in craft activities and a sit on our fire engines (and squirt water😊).  

The museum is free entry (but visits are by appointment only……..as we are on the site of an operational fire station).
